Superstitious villagers say there have been 7 vessels filled up with valuable stones concealed near to the fall, yet that will 5 have already been discovered. However, anybody looking for the last 2 will certainly meet an untimely death in the bottom in the fall.
The road into the fall wind gusts via villages between Hunasgiriya hill range and also dense jungle. Coming from Hasalaka, traveling within the Kandy - Mahiyangana road toward Wasgamuwa National Park for the Eke Ela Agri-Colony. From here, change left on a side path and also continue till the footpath that leads into the fall right after 4km.
